About the Trainer

Born and raised in Hawaii, currently living in Vernal, Utah, Rhonda Kamai-Kekela, LCSW is an EMDRIA approved trainer, EMDR Institute & EMDR HAP training facilitator and approved consultant. Rhonda is also an NASW credit provider. Rhonda maintains a private practice in Vernal and specializes in C-PTSD, addictions, anxiety and depression. She is also a Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional.

What our trainees are saying

I had been searching for an “in-person” EMDR training and had waited several years before I decided to commit to the process.

I also did not want to do a training with a room full of 50+ people for such an important treatment modality.

Having a smaller group gave the opportunity to ask questions and clarify what was being taught without feeling like you were taking over the entire group learning process. Additionally, training can get very emotional and personal so a smaller group is recommended. It felt like Rhonda cared more about the quality of the training instead of making money.

I could see how someone could make a lot of money on being a trainer. I have always felt that Rhonda was committed to the therapist’s learning process and continuing to support. I am so grateful that we drove all the way to Vernal for this training and

I would recommend it to anyone. Also, I found some delicious restaurants in Vernal!!

M.B., LCSW- Lehi, Utah

Rhonda is very thorough and compassionate in her nurturing through teaching with many opportunities to practice and really integrate processes. It is evident her immense knowledge about trauma and how it impacts life through her EMDR training. I have learned so much from her training which permeates into the lens I view healing work with the client's I serve as well as how I live my life.

K.M., LCSW- West Jordan, Utah
